Special Philip Lane Homes Features
A custom home is a big project, but we do not look at it that way.
Philip Lane Homes approaches your new custom home as if it were
hundreds of small, but very important projects. We believe that the
Philip Lane custom home difference is in the details.
The Philip Lane difference is in the
foundation of your new home, where
we use 3,000 psi concrete. This could
easily get lost in the overall “big” project,
but this concrete is 500 pounds
stronger per square inch than that which
most of our competitors use.
Five-hundred pounds stronger per
square inch, that is a detail that makes
a Philip Lane difference.
At Philip Lane Homes, we only use the finest quality lumber in your new home. We use #2 grade lumber in many areas of your custom home in which our competition uses a lower grade. The Philip Lane difference is in the details like stronger, straighter #2 lumber so your homes structural framing members do not twist and warp after the warranty has expired. How about the oversized, enlarged 3 inch #10 screws we use to secure your exterior doors to the framing members? Once again, a small project, but an important detail in the construction of your new home. How does this make a difference? By securing the door and door jamb
to the main structure of the home to
ensure the doors do not shift, move, or
settle over time thus eliminating the need
for adjustments for many years to come.
The List of Construction “special features”
of a Philip Lane Home goes on and on.
These things are the reason we look at
your home as many important “small projects” instead of as one large overall project. This ensures that in each and every phase of construction, the details are front and center. We would love to have the opportunity to discuss with you many more of our construction “special features.”
